Max DOS buffer

DOS buffer targets scale inversely with confidence. Tier 1 demand (committed POs) needs minimal buffer because it's locked. Tier 4 (speculative) needs maximum DOS buffer because the demand may not materialize, but stock-outs are costly if it does.

Understanding Data Freshness

Live Data — Connected directly to Shopify/Cin7 APIs. Refreshes every 10 minutes. Most accurate.
Mock Data — Fallback when APIs are unavailable. Based on recent snapshots but may be hours or days old.

Every report shows a data source badge in the top-right corner. The dot in the navigation bar (top-right) shows overall data source status: green = live APIs connected, gold = using mock/cached data.
